Water Meter Test Bench Model LBJ 80-300 is class 2 water meter test equipment, adopting principle of volumetric method. It is designed and manufactured according to China standard number ZBY303-85, "Horizontal woltman cold water meter DN 50-400" and JJG258-88, "Verification rules for horizontal woltman water meter". This equipment is to test water meter DN 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 according to International standard ISO 4064. | ||||||

3. Components and working principle: | ||||||
This equipment is mainly consist of water inlet pneumatic butterfly valve, straight pipeline, clamp, bench, flow regulating valve, instant flow meter, switch, volume tank, water release valve, water level meter, and electrical operating box. Working principle: Volumetric method, i.e., let water flow through the straight pipe and water meter in a certain time to the volume tank, then compare the reading difference between the water meter and volume tank. Error = (V2 - V1 ) / V1 x 100%, of which V2: water meter reading V1: volume tank reading |

4. Installation: | ||||||
1. This equipment shall be installed in the place where is bright and well ventilated. 2. The diameter of inlet pipe shall not smaller than that of the straight pipe. Keep pipes no leakage and clean. 3. Provide steady water pressure and clean water. 4. Eliminate disturbance to the greatest extent. Warning: not near to equipment which is strongly vibrant. 5. Install the bench horizontally. Permissible gradient of the glass flow meter is not more than 5 degree. 6. Put electrical operating box in a suitable place and connect to electric power and gas power. 7. Rated voltage of electric power is 220V, 50Hz. |

5. Operating: | ||||||
1. Switch on air compressor, air pressure 0.4-0.6MPa. 2. Switch on the electrical operating box, indicate light on. 3. Choose the straight pipe according to water meter DN. 4. Press the button to clamp the water meter. 5. Turn on the 2" by-pass ball valve to fulfill the pipe with water, then turn on the main inlet valve to release the air. The 2" by-pass ball valve is beside the main inlet valve. 6. Choose the buttons according to the flow rate, water volume and release valve to get the errors. 7. Press the Stop to stop the equipment emergently. |

6. Warnings: | ||||||
Press Stop to stop the equipment emergently. 2. Turn on the ball valve slowly when regulating flow rate. Warning: Turn on the ball valve fast may damage the glass rotor flow meter. 3. Release water from the glass rotor flow meter in winter. Warning: water may be frozen and damage the glass rotor flow meter. 4. Periodical maintenance. |
